With just over a week to go before entries close for Leg 4 of the Monster Pitstop in association with O’Neill, Vestal, Skullcandy and Neff, last month’s winner, Twiggy Baker, has put himself in contention once again with an epic entry:

Looking to ensure Twiggy doesn’t make it two wins out of two, however, is weskus local, Jaco Steyn, who finished runner-up in last month’s leg but is hoping to reverse the order in Leg 4 with an incredible barrel he scored in Indo recently:

Other contenders for the September leg of the Monster Pitstop include Bluff charger, Julian Wilson, who scored a thick tube that was filmed by Trish Waters. Jaco Steyn entered another contender from Indo – this one from the inside looking out, while Matt Pallet also rode a grinding barrel on the Bluff to be in contention for this month’s prize.

The winner of Leg 4 of the Monster Pitstop will not only claim over R10 000* in prizes for taking this month’s victory, but will also become the fourth of five contenders in the ‘Pit of the Year’ grand finals – which has over R30 000** in cash and prizes up for grabs by the winner.
