Just a few weeks after Transworld Media were bought out by US media giant Grind Media, it has been reported that Transworld Surf will no longer print copies of their popular and well-respected magazine, instead existing solely as a digital offering.

With Grind Media also owning the long-running surf titles Surfer and Surfing, the announcement to lose one magazine may come as no surprise to business-savvy readers, who may have predicted such a move in what’s been called a ‘crowded market’. ZagSpy wishes the bros at Transworld every success with their new digital endeavour and the surf mag world will be a poorer place without them.
