Throwback Thursday – 2008 Goodwave

Entries for the 2017 Cell C Goodwave at New Pier are rolling in, sparking memories of Pier perfection and flawless surfing. In the good spirit of Throwback Thursday’s, this week we take it back to the beach to the 2008 Quicksilver Goodwave Pro. Which surfers will be on the podium this time around and will we ever get such sweet waves again? While Durban awaits the swell and our gills crave the salt, soak up these timeless images of epic New Pier being torn apart by our countries best surfers in ’08…
