The SA Junior Team are scheduled to depart for the 2014 ISA World Junior Surfing Champs in Ecuador on 30 March. However, they’re going to need a bucketload of funds to get there and have been busying themselves with fundraising events around the country.
SA Junior Team ripper, Steff Burrows, will be looking to show the world what he can do in Ecuador.
The Western Cape and Boland team members have joined together to arrange a raffle and auction at Primi Piatti in Muizenberg on Thursday, 13 March. Tickets cost R100, which not only gets you some tasty canapés, but also the chance to either bid on something unique in their surf memorabilia auction, or enter one of the many raffles that will be drawn throughout the evening.
