After much deliberation from the judges, and after the team here at Zag made multiple calls, to each judge, trying to will the result from their noggins, the judges finally came to a conclusion regarding the October winners of the Striped Horse Challenge. Once again, it was a split panel decision, with Bromdog’s Dungeons point break ride taking two votes, and MFeb’s down the beach drainer taking three.
Johnny Paarmen, legendary big wave surfer had this to say, “Mfeb’s style and flow was a hands down winner, it was a big barreling drainer of a wave that was well handled.”
Mikey will receive R1000 worth of Hurricane accessories, a case of beers from Striped Horse and gets placed in the running for the grand prize at the end of competition.
