The last couple days, thanks to good fortune and spot-on forecasting, has brought about absolutely pumping conditions at the Da Hui Backdoor Shootout and where the event is concerned it’s stacking up to be one for the record books. No doubt the banging west swell has served up some of the best, if not the best, Backdoor waves of the season and Zag’s homeboy Marck Botha was in just the right place to catch it all.
