Shaun Tomson – Back in Town

“South Africa has all the ingredients to have the best surfers in the world,” said Shaun Tomson when he visited Zag headquarters yesterday, giving some valuable insight into what the SA Surfing Legends are hoping to achieve with the launch of their Surfing Academy.

Shaun will be talking at the South African Surfing Legends Charity Gala Dinner on Tuesday 12 May, with the event’s primary purpose aimed at raising funds for a training facility, to help boost the performance levels of young competitive SA surfers. Tickets are R1500 per seat or R15 000 per table, with a portion of the collected funds also going to Surfers Not Street Children.

Shaun will also be giving a talk geared towards young athletes and parents at the Durban Surf Lifesaving Club on Monday, 11 May. Space is limited, so priority will be given to athletes and their parents. Click here for more details.
