Durban’s surfers were saddened to hear of the passing of one of the long-serving ‘Guardian Angels’ of North Beach over the weekend. Neville’s friendship, protection and presence in the North Beach car park will be sorely missed by all those who got to know him – the number of whom amounts in the hundreds, if not thousands at Durban’s surf central.
