Youtube user Spencer Reilly uploaded this video yesterday, showing a close call he filmed while shark cage diving in Gansbaai:
Besides the incredible speed the shark hits the cage at, the next thought that crossed Zag Spy’s mind was, ‘why in the world would you do that?!’
Putting yourself directly in the path of a shark that is being lured with bait is crazy, and that’s before you even start on the debate of the ocean’s apex predator associating humans with their next meal. No thanks!

This article doesn’t do this shark any justice, it makes out that the shark attacked the cage but in fact if you watch the slow motion, you can see them boat operators dragging the bait straight into the cage, they effectively set the shark up for injury, they should be brought up on charges as these animals are endangered.

Could’nt have said it better myself Damon. These chops’s have no regard for these awesome creatures and only see them as money… Normally the first to moan when attacks happen too. The poor shark man! Chuck these idiots in the water…
