Mirror of the Sea

It’s not often that I see a cranking right barrel like this from my east coast-northwest facing verandah.

I didn’t technically ‘make’ this wave although; in a way, I think I did; by interpreting it as one. It lasted longer than a regular wave, no doubt, but in a few minutes it was gone: transient; like its’ oceanic metaphor. If anyone else saw this cloud on Wednesday 08.08.12 reflecting the tail end of the cold front that delivered Durban’s coldest week of the year and; by seeing a wave made it a wave; let them claim it and provide a photo, and you can judge which is better.

What I mean is that if the criterion is: to transform a combination of elements into something that resembles, but isn’t actually, a naturally forming ocean wave then I think this entry fits the bill.
